Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 3, 2026
TL;DR: We use Google to log you in. We don't see your Google name or photo. We generate a random username for you, and it's permanent.
1. Data Collection & Identity
We practice data minimization. When you sign in via Google Auth, we receive and store your email address. This acts as your unique account key.
- No Real Names: We do not pull or store your name from Google.
- Generated Identity: Upon your first login, our system assigns you a permanent, randomly generated username.
- Hashed Avatars: Your profile picture is a unique visual hash generated from your username. We do not store your Google profile image.
2. Leaderboards & Scores
When you participate in games, your scores are saved to our database. These scores are publicly displayed on our leaderboards alongside your assigned random username and hashed avatar. Your email remains private and is never shown to other users.
3. Service Providers
We use industry-standard partners to keep the site running:
| Provider | Purpose | Privacy Link |
|---|---|---|
| Secure Authentication | Link | |
| DigitalOcean | Database Hosting (Emails/Scores) | Link |
| Cloudflare | Privacy-first Analytics & Security | Link |
4. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies to manage your login session. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor site performance. This analytics tool is privacy-focused, does not use cookies, and does not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is stored for as long as your account exists. Because usernames are randomly assigned, they are permanent and cannot be changed.
To request a full deletion of your account, email, and leaderboard scores, please contact us at: [email protected]. Note: Data may persist in secure backups for up to 30 days before total erasure.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services. Check this page for the latest version.
